Default Planning of a ta spike/pressure build.

I know i'm going to be flamed, i'm not really that great of a planner when it comes to pvp. So bare in mind that I am a noob.

I was just wondering, i've seen a/mo signet spikers who can just about take a char from full to death within a short combo with 3 knockdowns. Now I know they don't usually die but they have really low health.

My idea would be something like 3 a/mo with 1 monk. Basically at the beginning every assassin picks an enemy and then instead of spiking down 1 main person, you spike down 3 and make the healer have trouble deciding who to heal. Basically you should kill 2 people out of the 3 in a short period of time.

The monk could even be a smiter with the reversal smiting skill, an extra signet or 2 and then maybe protection for a zealous benediction heal.

I know this build probably seems really noobish so I expect to be flamed as I am not good at this kind of stuff.

It just seems like a monk could not possibly prepare/ save 3 people (including himself) going from full to near death within a few seconds. Throw in the monk adding an extra signet or two and you might even kill all 3 people.

Just curious if you guys think this could work?

Sorry but i'm just an american who's stuck to the crummy random arenas and have never played any true pvp (don't plan on being any great pvper).

All I was thinking of was a build that could possibly work. I understand it's not as great as the basic, blinder/ melee hex, w/e shock, mo/a zealous or whatever other balanced build everyone seems to play.

I am just trying to come up with an actual fun build rather than the boring standard stuff I see everywhere.

Reminds me of the old glad-farming builds that we would run in offtimes.

3 shovesins:
shove, falling, twisting, disrupting, wild, horns, utility, res sig
1 monk.

Run up to noob enemy, spike down three of them, take down the third while disrupting sig with dual ddaggers. Good times. But a horrible build, only works vs crappy teams.

Well that's why I was trying to figure out a way for a team to spike down 3 chars at once. Since it's kind of hard/ impossible to save 3 chars simultaneously if you can get a good enough spike.

I figured signet spike would be able to do a lot of unresistable damage. Not to mention the 3 knockdowns during the combo to prevent much defenses coming up.

don't use the build; it's not even a build, it's the cancer that ruins TA more and more, play something that's fun to play against and not this piece of...

QFT. unfortunately it's the euro noobs that are using this all day because they're so terrible at anything else.

cheers for the euro hate. it has nothing to do on these boards.

I ran across one of those team with a RA team composed of a necro hexway, E-denial Me ,standart monk and me as a steady stance warr.
They couldn't kill one of us, cause we made the fight last more than a minute. From this point, they had no energy to start their combo over.
As said before its good for noob farming, but there isn't only noobs in arenas.

If the fight last longer then 30 seconds, they lose.

So then, if my build fails. I would like to see someone else post a build that can spike down a group of 3 quickly without it being the standard basic. 1 damage, 1 pressure/ protector hybrid, 1 monk and one utility or whatever seems to be the basic builds.

I just get bored of every single build the same principle and want to do something new and fun (surprisingly enough, to some ta is supposed to be for fun). I even once ran a mystic sandstorm group in ta (failed from no coordination) but it was fun.

Congrats, you win at karate chopping your keyboard. Get a real build now perhaps?

that gimmick is s standard build in TA now, right next to r/p+r/w+rit with warmongers+monk farmbuild and fear me lameway.
And as of yesterday, a new me/n FC abuse joined in, fun fun.

at desktructor, i guess it can be fun to try it out once or twice just to take a break from something that requires skill and concentration, but to abuse the bar forever merely because one fails at anything else...

I would prefer to see people who run builds that are bad at winning but good at surviving and wasting my time fall off the face of the Earth.
